In line with its long term relationship with its clients, Karman Group provides a variety of consulting services to its clients.

Clients are regularly informed and kept abreast with Aptify™ Application Upgrades and Updates as they are planned and become available. Clients with a current Aptify™ Application Maintenance & Support Agreement, automatically receive all the Aptify™ Application Upgrades and Updates to new versions released by Aptify Corporation USA in the course of the period for which the Maintenance & Support Agreement applies. Clients seeking assistance with installing Updates and Upgrades, will be provided with a proposal for the consulting services to be provided.

New Solutions Implementations

The Karman Group systems implementation methodology encompasses the following components:
  1. A thorough analysis of all business processes
  2. A thorough examination of documentation, paper flows and reporting outcomes
  3. Determination of essential business requirements
  4. Design of best practice for all processes and procedures
  5. Assessment of how this interacts with all other business processes
  6. Preparation of an initial documentation set, that reflects the identified requirements
  7. Processes are modelled using the selected software and proof of concept is obtained. This may be further workshopped in a prototype that will be more heavily trialled or tested.
  8. Design testing with client sample data and client staff
  9. Configurations specifications may be required for configuration of additional functionality or data integration work
  10. Acceptance of requirements documentation
  11. Client data conversion and data import into configured staging environment
  12. User testing of client configuration with converted data in a staging environment
  13. Administrator and User training conducted
  14. Live deployment – assisted and supervised
Karman Group’s methodology for solution delivery has one primary objective, and that is keep the process simple and aim at the highest possible efficiencies in any system implementation. By virtue of the proof of concept consulting sessions we explore more deeply what the business processes are and what outcomes are required from the management solution. Through the ISIS (Informed Systems Implementation Specification) sessions and various system design discussions, areas of operation that can be made more efficient and effective in business delivery will be identified, probed and resolved.

It is a well documented fact that most system implementation weaknesses and deficiencies have less to do with the actual software product, but rather are more often the result of poor planning, poor management of the implementation process, insufficient resourcing or inadequate training or attempting to take short cuts through the implementation process.

The Karman Group Methodology has been designed and developed to prevent such occurrences, by operating in a logical, structured manner, and having check-points and acceptance points along the way. No system gets implemented, no work flow procedure determined, and no work done on installing the system until the exact requirements are understood and documented and until the system can be proven to deliver the expected results.

Through close consultation with the Organisation, the new system roll out is effected in a staged process. A detailed project plan with all timed phases is determined at the ISIS workshop stage of the project.
