LinkedIn is fast becoming the primary social network forum for business professions. Staff at Karman Group regularly use LinkedIn to keep up to date with industry trends and collaborate with other professionals. Feedback from our client base also suggests that this social network also has an important future for the way professional associations communicate with their membership base.
LinkedIn has recently made changes to their privacy controls and as a result, all users have been included in their social advertising program. Mike Flacy of Digital Trends says "When a LinkedIn user views a third-party advertisement on the social network, they will see user profile pictures and names of connections if that connection has recommended or followed a brand. Any time that a user follows a brand, they unwittingly become a cheerleader for the company or organization if it advertises through LinkedIn."
