Karman Group is pleased to announce the release of Aptify 5.5. With over 70 new features, this version of the Aptify software provides you with more ways to streamline your processes and offer a broader range of services to your members.
Some of the new features are:
- Accounting Periods: The Accounting Periods service is a new reporting tool used to aggregate general ledger batch data in groups to allow a user to review the activity on a per account basis. Associating batches with an Accounting Period allows you to review transactions for a particular time frame across Orders, Payments, and Scheduled Transactions with one form.
- Subscription Enhancements: Aptify 5.5 includes a number of improvements to the Subscription service. Subscriptions now support a default value for membership dues, allowing a company to set their own unique defaults. In addition, the ability to automatically prorate a subscription based on calendar year has been included. For example, if the normal calendar year cycle is from July through June and a customer orders the membership in October, the quantity and price will adjust automatically. Finally, the configurability of the Start Date for renewals has also been improved to allow an administrator to provide a default interval.
- Ability to Load Forms Based on Context: When using forms in Aptify, there may be times when it is useful to display different forms within the same service. For example, it may be useful to display different Companies forms depending on a company’s type. Or perhaps, when opening a new record, the form should be optimised for data entry whereas when opening an existing record, the form should be optimised for viewing information. Aptify 5.5 introduces functionality that allows different forms to appear based on the usage context.
- New Orders Form and Wizard: Beginning with 5.5, Aptify introduces two significant improvements to the Orders service. A redesigned Orders form improves the Order Entry process with better organisation and simplified details. In addition, the Orders service includes an Order Entry Wizard to guide users through the creation of a new order in three steps.
- Meeting/Class/Integration: Many organisations offer seminar-based classes that are short in duration with rotating speakers, differing from the multi-week classes held at training facilities. However, these classes share many characteristics with meetings and can benefit from the Meetings Management functionality already available. Aptify 5.5 introduces the ability to leverage this functionality for Classes within the Education Management application.
If any of our valued clients have not yet received the 5.5 release notes, or would like to further explore how your group can take advantage of this new release, please speak to your consultant.
